Key qualifications:
• Over 20 years of experience in research across a wide variety of African countries (South Africa, Senegal, Mozambique and Angola) with assignments ranging from survey design, organization of fieldwork, participation to international research programs including African universities, disseminating research work, attending international conferences and publications).
• Over 10 years of experience in Educational and Scientific cooperation in Africa (from ex ante project evaluation, development over implementation to project evaluation) incl. long-term strategy planning and systemic capacity development for public administration officials in the higher education sector.
• Associate professor at different French universities (University Paris Ouest Nanterre, ENS Lyon, University of Bordeaux)
• Thematic specialization: urban studies, migration and displacement studies, technical cooperation with focus on African geographies.
• Over 15 years of experience in international development in general, working with a variety of institutions from public institutions and government bodies (e.g., Governments of Mozambique and Angola), international stakeholders such as the European Union, research centres, universities, civil society.
• Authoring & editing of communication materials & related publications (gender inclusion diagnostic, post-graduation in Angola diagnostic, -see below publication section).

• Event, communication & knowledge management (WS documentation, social media articles, etc.); Workshop organization and facilitation.
