Walid BEN KHELIFA has a PhD, a master in hydraulics and rural development and Engineering diploma in Rural Engineering, Water and Forests. He has sixteen (16) years of experience in hydrological and hydraulic studies (Roads structures dimension, Dams, Flood), watershed management, Water and Soil Conservation impact. He is an international expert (Togo, Tunisia, Senegal, Gambia, Central African republic, Guinea). Its main skills are:
- Watersheds delineation and theirs morphometric characteristics, using remote sensing (DEM) and GIS tools
- Detailed analysis of rainfall studies : filling gaps, statistical analysis of yearly, monthly and daily rainfall, frequency analysis

- Study of frequency flows for the dimensioning of road and hydro-agricultural structures
