Partner with key players in the financial inclusion and agribusiness ecosystem to leverage comparative expertise. Oversee the implementation of the work plan and the capacity building unit. Collaborate with stakholders to develop capacity building methodologies.
Conceptualized and designed the capacity building framework and work plan.
Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation (Swisscontact) 1998 – 2019 – Country Director Uganda 2011 – 2019
Oversaw the implementation $ 4 million in Swisscontact projects in Uganda per year. managed a local team of over 30 staff.
Swisscontact Deputy Regional Director , Central, Eastern and Southern Africa , 2016 – 2018
Produced regional business plans and executed projets based on strategy and contienent specifications. Facilitated business developement in-country for Swisscontact.
Country Director Benin, 2008 – 2011
Executed six projects that led to Beninese Governement developing a non- formal apprenticeship accepted by the private sector. Oversaw a team of 20 to administer project implementation inclusing institutional registration, adherence to country regulations, and set u and maintenance of in-country office. Acted as the in-country representative for Swisscontact and representative to stakeholder, public authorities, partners, and beneficiaries. Supervised the program to support professional training and employement for the craft sector.
Country Director Mali, 2000 – 2008
Administered the program to support professionnal training in handicraft trades. represented the interests of Swisscontact in mali and oversaw operational, administrative and financial management of the professional training project.
Directed the formation of non-formal apprentice and craftmen training for the craft sector.
Negociated an additional three phases for the project.
